Renovo was selected to manage and execute a furniture relocation project for East Suffolk Council, located across from Lowestoft Marina. Appointed by our trusted partners, Showcase PSR, Renovo was identified as the ideal team for the job due to our history of professionalism in delivering workplace services across the country.

The project involved clearing out a two-floor office building as the Council prepared to relocate. Renovo’s role was to remove and store the office furniture, ensuring it would be easily accessible when the Council moved into their new premises. We worked closely with the East Suffolk project team to maintain clear communication and deliver a smooth, efficient process. Renovo conducted initial site visits to audit the existing furniture, perform health and safety checks, and assess access routes, allowing us to create a streamlined action plan, ensuring maximum time efficiency when the move took place.

The move was executed in three phases over three days. While the majority of the furniture was transported to a local storage facility, a portion was donated to charities supported by the Council. Renovo is committed to assisting clients in achieving their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, and this project was no exception. Throughout the process, we maintained our circular economy standards, ensuring that the relocation was both efficient and environmentally responsible.

On the first day, our team dismantled and carefully wrapped the furniture to ensure safe handling during transit and storage. The following day, as dismantling continued, Renovo’s drivers began transporting the items to storage. By day three, all items had been successfully moved, and Renovo conducted detailed documentation and quality assurance checks, including photographing the stored furniture. Everything was securely placed on pallets and further protected for long-term storage.

Once the remaining rubbish was cleared, and donations and recycling were sorted, the project concluded with a smooth handover. The client expressed complete satisfaction with the thoroughness and professionalism of the entire process.
