Project Overview
Renovo was brought on board by Global Holdings Management Group – an international powerhouse in real estate asset management – to take on an exciting new floor installation. The famous Southbank hotel offering views of the River Thames, is situated in the distinct Sea Containers building. The Renovo team were recruited to install fresh flooring and provide top-up furniture for the existing floors, all while ensuring a straight-forward process in this iconic space.
Scope and Services
This was a multi-supplier project, with products initially delivered to our Rayleigh warehouse for consolidation before making their way to the site. Our installation team coordinated these deliveries, alongside direct shipments from leading furniture providers: Senator, who provided desking, Frem, who provided chairs, and NDG, who provided ,meeting tables. Meanwhile, Bisley and Spacestor managed the delivery and installation of their own products.
Collaboration was key. Performing 192 on-site man hours, Renovo worked closely with the client’s designer, Juliet Walmsley, as well as the in-house security team to ensure smooth delivery logistics and easy access to the designated floors.
The suppliers involved include: Frem, Senator, Spacestor, NDG, Norman Copenhagen, Lintex, Linie Design, Allermuir, Bisley, NOR, &Tradition, Modus, Sixteen3, Hem Group, CMD, Audo, Forma 5
Challenges Overcome
Just days before installation, the client adjusted the destination of the main furniture order from level 4 to level 6. With some variations in floor plate design, Renovo were happy to adapt desking positions to align with floor box layouts, ensuring a flawless fit.
As an added request, the client also asked for assistance with reconfiguring furniture on two other floors. We were happy to step in and ensure everything was arranged to their needs. Flexibility and problem-solving are part of what we do best, and we made sure every detail was handled with precision while maintaining our high standards.
