Hansard Society

Project Description

Hansard Society were recommended to Renovo to organise the move of their existing office from King Street, London to a new space at Millbank Tower, London. Renovo were able to visit site to take a full of brief of what was required, and to complete a full survey of the items moving along with the building we were working in.  This was followed up with a costed proposal to cover all of elements of the move.

Services Provided

Renovo were appointed to carry out the relocation of crates, equipment, desktop IT, and identified furniture. Following the move, Hansard Society also required the removal and recycling of the legacy furniture which needed to be removed in time for their space to be handed back to the Landlord.

The relocation was planned to take place over 3 days. Renovo packers assisted with the packing of filing and also a library. The relocation to the new space was carried out on the second day, and the clearance of the legacy furniture was completed on the third day.

As part of the works, the Hansard Society required temporary storage for a substantial number of volumes of Hansard. These have been packed and are currently stored by Renovo for the onward delivery to be coordinated.
