Running clinical trials and health studies for biotech and healthtech startups Lindus Health is dedicated to revolutionising the global industry. Deciding to relocate their team of professionals from The Taper Building to the newly renovated Union Street building, Lindus wanted to propel their mission in a progressive setting, choosing the central location within walking distance to Borough Market and London Bridge. To assist with the move, Lindus sought a reliable partner to navigate this transition smoothly. The Renovo team, led by a supervisor and backed by a team of seven fitters, oversaw Lindus Health’s relocation with precision.

We handled each aspect of the move, including safeguarding IT infrastructure. By providing packing crates to Lindus Health a week before the move, ample time was given for preparation before transporting them to the new offices. Existing furniture in the new premises had to be reconfigured, dismantled, and stored on-site to accommodate soft seating relocated from the client’s previous offices.

Navigating logistical challenges, we efficiently tackled the relocation tasks. This involved disassembling, wrapping, and protecting all phone booths, as well as testing, decommissioning, transporting, unpacking, recommissioning, and retesting all monitors upon arrival to ensure functionality. All items were packed, transported, and unpacked within the same day’s timeline.

Facing the logistical hurdle of the client’s new building being situated on a busy road, we adeptly managed transportation, using nylon wheel skates to protect the flooring during the final leg of the journey by foot. Due to the limitations of the building’s lift, large items had to be carried up the stairs upon arrival.

Arriving at the new space, we found the furniture arrangement didn’t optimise the space available. Working alongside the client, we reconfigured the layout, ensuring everything was in its rightful place according to the client’s requirements. Overall, we swiftly unpacked and arranged 21 monitors, assembling desks, meeting tables, storage units, and chairs, prioritising minimal disruption and downtime to Lindus Health’s operations and swiftly reinstating employees to their roles. Additionally, we upheld our commitment to sustainability by facilitating recycling at the client’s previous location, aligning with our circular economy policy.

Through comprehensive planning and execution, the Renovo team not only facilitated the client’s relocation but also enabled the advancement of their mission, accommodating future growth.
