Last Friday, the Renovo team swapped tools for tuxedos (in spirit, at least!) as we joined Showcase Interiors and Showcase PSR Portsdown for our annual Showcase Summer Event.
The Smithfield HQ didn’t look like its usual self – instead, transformed for the day with glowing lanterns and a dry-ice bar courtesy of Mix & Twist, setting the scene for what was to come. It gave everyone a chance to mingle with the wider group before the day’s surprise reveal.
And what a reveal: a James Bond-themed mission across London!
We set off in teams, solving clues, completing spy-style challenges and making the most of a few pub stops along the way. It was the perfect way to catch up with familiar faces, and meet a few new ones from across the group, outside of the usual workday.
The adventure wrapped back at Smithfield with drinks, laughs, and the very first run of the Showcase Wishball: a lucky draw that sent a few lucky winners home with cash prizes (the first of three this year).
A brilliant day all round — full of fun, good people and a reminder of what makes this team so strong. Most importantly, it was our way of saying thank you for the effort, energy and care that goes into every job, every day.
